Curriculum Vitae

My early career was as a Meteorologist (briefly) and a Civil Engineer (hydraulics and public works, domestic and international), under my birth name, William Marvin Redditt, III.

Memorable activities included receiving a US Patent - Number 3,464,209, for a "Flow Controlling Irrigation Apparatus", in Sept 1969 (replica), and travelling around the world five times as a consultant.
Later, I moved away from Civil Engineering....and into computers, under my adopted name Marian Gail Beddill:...
  • Owner, CornerFour GeoSystems and CornerFour Associates.
  • Consultant services for projects in GIS, Information Systems Management, training and assistance for effective use of the PC as a tool in planning, management and development.
  • PC system configuration for technical users.
Most recently, after retirement, I have been "just" a citizen activist.
